Truthfully NetTonic has Microsoft servers as well, but we do all we can to steer our customers towards Linux. Linux servers are much more reliable. This means greater uptime and better performance. Linux is a free operating system, which keeps costs down, and the software that typically accompanies a Linux installation is free as well (PHP, MySQL, XML, Python, etc.).
